San Rocco’s oratory is situated in the locality Baraggiolo next to the provincial road leading to Cavaglietto. It has a single-apse nave covered with a wooden roof and terracotta perforated blocks. The saddleback-style façade was originally completely open with a wide arch. Both sides had many doors, so that the building would always remain open. Later interventions brought the building to its present situation. The decorations of the oratory are very valuable and interesting. In the conch the Christ Pantocrator is represented between two angels playing music. The brick ancon, which is situated above the altar and supported by the apse wall, is original and depicts our Lady with Child between San Rocco and Saint Joseph. San Rocco and San Martino, who is riding an imposing white horse, are painted on the north wall. A valuable ex-voto, recalling a dramatic plague varified in 1501 in Barengo and surroundings, is visible on the south wall. The wall-paintings of the oratory are ascribed to the Cagnolas’ shop.
