Podcast - Itineraries to listen to
“Itinerari da ascoltare” (Itineraries to listen to) is an innovative tourist promotion project which proposes an audio journey in episodes, an experience that takes visitors on an inclusive tour of Novara and the surrounding area created specifically for the sight-impaired.
Podcasts are an increasingly popular dissemination tool and, in our case, they make it possible to transform a simple walk into a complete, engaging and accessible sensory experience through the narration of the historical, artistic and natural heritage in the province of Novara, conveyed by a narrative voice with a strong emotional component.
The itineraries have been conceived and designed by experts on the area and they tell the story of the Faraggiana Ferrandi Natural History Museum, the Paolo and Adele Giannoni Gallery of Modern Art and the dome of the Basilica of San Gaudenzio in Novara, as well as the Campo della Ghina botanical garden in Borgolavezzaro, the Bosco Solivo nature reserve in Borgo Ticino, the C. G. Fanchini Archaeological Ethnographic Museum in Oleggio, the Lower Valsesia Historical and Ethnographic Museum at Villa Caccia in Romagnano Sesia and, for younger visitors, a fun trip entitled "A spasso nel Novarese. Guida per giovani turisti" (Out and about in and around Novara. Guide for young tourists).
"Itinerary to listen to" is part of the Italy-Switzerland Interreg project "DESy - Digital Destination Evolution System".
