The country oratory, dedicated to Saint Mary dei Campi, is situated outside the village along the road leading to Vicolungo. The original building dated back likely to the XII century and stood in a village, which was abandoned by the inhabitants to move into the fortified quarter in search of a greater safety. These events caused the consequent decay of the religious building until when, in 1493, a certain Bartolomeo de Lunseratio wanted it to be restored in the present-day shape as place of votive cult. It contains a cycle of 16th-century wall-paintings attributed to Bartulonus da Novara. Scenes of the Passion of Christ are depicted on the south wall, while the figures of Saints and a nursing Eve are visible on the north wall. A Saint Rocco with the Madonna del Latte, ordered to the workshop of the Cagnolas by a certain Antonius de Barberis, can be noticed on the counter-façade wall. The quite original dome shaped as a turban dominates the little belfry.
