This little church stands east of the village. It was likely built up late in the XIV century by the family of De’ Capitaneis, who adapted it as oratory. It has a single hall with semi-circular apse. The outer walls are made in river pebbles mostly arranged in the style of “opus spicatum” and alternated with brick belts. In ancient times the façade showed a wall-painting representing the Universal Judgement, completed with outer ornamental belts, today hardly visible unfortunately. The interior is rich in wall-paintings and decorations dating back to XV and XVI century. The most important ones can be admired in the apsidal conch, where an image of Christ Pantocrator with the Evangelists’ symbols dominates. The depiction of the Passion of Christ placed on the Triumphal arch is interesting as well. The side walls are completely painted in fresco with figures of Saints unfortunately fading. The detail of the visage of a Virgin Mary, situated on the right of the entrance, is singular and pretty.
